Down Payment Assistance
The Asset Building Coalition of Kitsap is excited to offer down payment assistance up to $40,000 for historically marginalized low-to-moderate income (up to 120% AMI) Kitsap County homebuyers. The terms of that loan are as follows: The down payment assistance will be deployed as deferred lending at 0% for the first 5 years, and 1% simple interest thereafter through the 30-year loan term, with repayment triggered by resale, cash-out refinance, transfer, or if the home is no longer being occupied as the buyer’s primary residence.

Homeownership Information Sessions
The Asset Building Coalition of Kitsap has helped coordinate multiple opportunities to learn about homeownership and down payment assistance programs. Here is the schedule of upcoming events:
This program is funded by the Community Reinvestment Project which focuses on repairing wealth disparities in communities disproportionately harmed by the war on drugs. Native American, African American, and Hispanic individuals are strongly encouraged to apply.
