Business Boost Grants
The Asset Building Coalition of Kitsap is excited to offer grants to help entrepreneurs in Kitsap County launch or grow their businesses. This grant opportunity is open to current students or former students who graduated from the Business Education Support & Training (BE$T) program. Please note these awards will require gathering some additional up-to-date income documentation.
The amount of grant assistance will vary by applicant and depend on the number of entrepreneurs who express interest but we anticipate the average award will be valued between $300 and $500.
Intended uses could be your business licensing fees to start your business, the purchase of equipment you need to launch, or some other start-up cost that, if covered, could help your business excel. Or maybe what would help most is a consultation with another professional to assist you plan your marketing strategy, get your bookkeeping set up, or provide other technical assistance. Let us know how we could help when submitting your application.
These grants are funded by the Community Reinvestment Project which focuses on repairing wealth disparities in communities disproportionately harmed by the war on drugs. Native American, African American, and Hispanic individuals are strongly encouraged to apply.
